Defeated

Well, we were finally beaten by another undefeated team. It was a really good game up to the last 4 plays. The score was 12 to 7. The other team scored 2 touchdowns on long runs when our boys let them get on the outside. We scored a touchdown and made our extra point. In flag football, you play by number of plays not time. So down to the last 4 plays of the game. Other team has ball with 4 plays remaining and what do they do? Like really great sports they decide to knee on the plays. What does this mean? Basically, rather then risk us taking the ball and scoring again, they choose to down each of the remaining plays after the snap. I really think this should be illegal. We deserved a chance to get the ball back, and if they are really so much better then we are why not prove it by keeping the ball away from us during play? Oh well, our kids played a great game!!! I'm proud of them!

n23t25c20Bummer! That is legal, and a smart way to be sure you win IF you're in professional football! Really, they are little boys and should've had a chance. At least you had fun! Robin
