Both boys had Easter egg hunts with their schools this week. Daniel's preschool always goes to one of the local nursing homes for their egg hunt. The residents are so sweet to fill the eggs with candy and "hide" them outside for the children. The Easter bunny comes to visit with the kids and everyone leaves with a smile on their face. We have been doing this Easter egg hunt for the last 5 years and it is so sad to me that this years will be the last for our family. I cannot believe how time seems to fly.
Isaac's class had their Easter egg hunt at the local Christmas Tree Farm. They had lots of activities: scarecrow building, hay rides, llama petting, seed planting, and picnicking, in addition to hunting for lots of eggs. Unfortunately, we also had a wind storm on this day, so we had to cancel the S'Mores. The kids really had a great time and now I'm just wondering how to scrapbook such a diverse day of activities, fall paper or Easter paper???
