"D"'s preschool celebrated Thanksgiving this year by having an Indian Culture Day. The kids rotated through 4 different classrooms where they learned: planting corn, Indian writing, bowl making, and tortilla making. Each of the teachers had done such a great job converting their classroom into an "Indian Village". The children dressed as pilgrams and "learned" from the Indians (teachers) some of the skills necessary for survival in the "New World". It was such a neat day.
